Concert photography can be a real challenge, but one I absolutely thrive on.  Unlike many other types of photography, at a concert venue the photographer has no control over the lighting, and has to work out how best to set up their camera for the given lighting conditions, which can change at any time, and usual do!  Adding to the challenge it is usual for photography to be limted to the first three songs, so the concert photographer has to move, think and snap fast to get the shots.

Working mainly with Simon Watson Photography, I have photographed a great many concerts since 2013, from here in Norfolk to London, the north of England and South Wales.  Bands photographed include Spandau Ballet at the O2 Arena in London, Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel at the Royal Albert Hall, Years & Years, Grace Jones, Mika and Chic with Nile Rodgers at the 2015 Hyde Park BST Festival, The Levellers, Visage, Heaven 17, China Crisis, The Boomtown Rats, Republica and a great many more.
